Take ACTION!

There are several things YOU can do to end the humanitarian crisis in Sri Lanka.

Individuals can Join CCSL
Sign up and attend our meetings.  There is always more work to be done, be it contacting politicians, helping do research, helping educate the public or simply to stay informed on the crisis.

Groups/Organizations can join the Coalition
If you are part of an organization and you feel the organization’s mandate is in line with some of the goals that CCSL has in ending the humanitarian crisis in Sri Lanka you can join the Coalition on behalf of your organization.

Contact your MP
There are various ways to let our politicians what is important to us.  As our elected representatives, it is their obligation to consider the concerns of everyday Canadians.  You can write a letter to your MP letting them know facts about the current situation in Sri Lanka.  Better, you can make an appointment and visit your MP in person to let them know how you feel about the situation in Sri Lanka and what the Canadian government can do to alleviate the crisis.

Pass it along!
Learn as much as you can about this issue.  Talk to your family, friends and neighbours about the situation in Sri Lanka.  With a broader knowledge base we stand a much better chance of getting something done!
